Get outside and explore the infamous Boulder Flatirons by foot. Join us for a guided hike to Chautauqua Park to take in the beauty of the Flatirons as we hike our way to the best views!
Join us in the lounge on Saturday and Sunday morning to kick-start your day with morning flow yoga. Mats will be provided. Open for all levels as an opportunity to bring balance into your day. Centering practice, breath and alignment-aware asana. Warm up your body from the inside out to create a great start to your day!
Get ready to get crafty in our lounge with some classic camp crafts! All materials and tools will be supplied, along with expert guidance through the hands-on process. Campers will be provided everything they need to make and leave with a completed project. Saturday: Shibori Dyed Bandanas! Sunday: Hand Stamped Postcards!
Join Rocky Mountain Anglers on Saturday afternoon for a three-hour intro course to Fly Fishing! Learn about everything from knots and bugs to environmental stewardship during this fly fishing “how-to”, even if you’re not planning to gear up for the fly fishing adventure on Sunday morning. The friendly RMA staff will answer all your questions and help you understand the basics of fly fishing along the front range. Topics covered include: gear + equipment, rigging + knots, casting techniques, presentation, landing + releasing, entomology – bugs + imitations, stream etiquette + stewardship, and local fishing destinations.
With more craft breweries per capita than any other state, we’d be mad not to celebrate in the hard work of the Colorado brewers with a tasting! Join us in the lounge at Basecamp Hotel to sample beers from Avery Brewing Co. Hear the story of Avery Brewing Co. and learn about the beer as you taste a selection of brews made right here in Boulder!
It’s not camp without s’mores! Join us around the fire pit Saturday evening to roast marshmallows and see how high you can stack that chocolate onto graham crackers.
Sunday, Sept. 2, 3:00pm – 4:00pm
Join Boulder Rock Club climbing instructor Meredith McCormick for an hour of bouldering basics on our bouldering wall in the lounge. No prior experience or equipment necessary! See the beauty of Boulder on two wheels! Join Sacred Rides Boulder on a great mountain bike ride for beginners to intermediates. Riding through the foothills of Boulder, then high up on a mesa, swooping through fun singletrack while enjoying incredible views of the amazing Rocky Mountains. We’ll pass by several beautiful bodies of water (yes – in Colorado!), one of which has a sand beach you’re welcome to stop at for a dip!

Experience the Rockies with a guided Fly Fishing trip led by Rocky Mountain Anglers. The city of Boulder offers easy access to year-round outdoor activities including some of the nation’s best fly fishing. Gear up and head out into the varied waters of Colorado for an unforgettable experience in the Rockies. Whether you’re a rank beginner, or a seasoned angler, the guides at Rocky Mountain Anglers will show you a great day on the water.
Included: rod, reel, boots, waders, flies, leaders, tippet, transportation, water, snacks
*Must obtain your own Colorado State Fishing License – $9
